The A Team: A Review
October 1st 2010 02:33
Didn't think too much of this movie before I started; dismissing its blockbuster earnings as American nostalgia.
But boy was I wrong; remakes seem to be making a comeback lately; not just in the sense of numbers but of quality too. There seems to be a balance of 'in jokes' and new modern ways of film-making.
Some of the jokes can get a bit old throughout the movie but the producers seemed to have gotten away with it with modern ingenuity and wit.
There are some big-ish names in the movie, noticeably Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper & Jessica Biel. Bradley Cooper probably stood out for me the most; the rest of the characters just leaning on the strength of the script rather than the degree of acting capabilities.
Nothing much to say about this movie really - watch it to enjoy it. Its clever but simple at the same time. Definitely suited for a Sunday afternoon.
